Lost & Found - the Fugitive Edition

Lost this morning (5/24/2013): Two small children, one male in pajamas and barefoot, one female in play clothes with white socks on but no shoes. Also missing: the mop bucket. Children and mop bucket last seen in the master bathroom with female adult, who was blow drying her hair.

Found this morning: Two small children, one male in pajamas with tennis shoes (no socks), one female in play clothes with wet and grassy socks that used to be white. Children located in front of the house, filling the missing mop bucket with water from the running sprinklers. Smaller child also apprehended trying to maneuver the mop (possible weapon?).

Results from interrogation: Female child carried mop bucket from master bathroom to entryway door, where male child used lock-breaking skills to unlock the deadbolt and door lock. Unable to determine motive for confined facility escape, but believe male child was planning on using sprinkler water to water his flowers.

Conclusion: Suspects detained and given stern talking-to about the dangers of leaving confined facility without adult supervision. Male suspect has recent prior history of escapes from confined facilities (parents reported two escapes from the backyard just yesterday, through new wooden gate with lock.) Unable to determine effectiveness of stern talking-to at this time, further monitoring required.
