Today I had a full day of work, followed by a haircut and dinner/shopping with my mother-in-law Julia. Then I came home and visited with the hubby for a bit and petted the dog. Really mundane, everyday things, but I am so GRATEFUL and GLAD that I have a job that I enjoy, that I can afford a haircut, that all the grandparents-to-be are around for Baby Baker, that I have a hubby I like talking to, and a that I have a dog who is excited to see me when I get home.
On my future to-do list is to figure out how to make my blog look cooler. It has some steps to climb to reach a level of coolness. If somebody could advise how to add a ticker to my layout, it would be much appreciated.

I think for the ticker, when you go to edit your page, they give you the option of adding a "widget" and it's "add HTML code". Then you find a ticker from some ticker website, get the HTML code from that and add it to the widget. Save, and it should pop up on your blog. If you are wanting a fun new background, I would just search online for free blog backgrounds. it gives you the codes and how to add them to your page. hope that helps!
