Judging yourself, your writing, your talent, or your project harshly—as lacking or less than, as not good enough, fast enough, or professional enough—doesn’t serve you. If you think self-criticism is going to light a fire under you and inspire you to work harder, faster, or better, think again. It might motivate you to take a little action, but at what cost? Self-criticism makes you feel bad about yourself and your writing. And the worse you feel, the less creative you are. It’s simply not useful. It shuts you down, and cuts you off from the inspiration you need to be creative.
So, stop it!
* Appreciate where you are. * Enjoy what you’re doing. * Take pride in how far you’ve come. * Be excited about where you’re going.
Self-love and self-respect will take you farther faster than self-criticism and judgment could ever even dream of. When you’re feeling good about yourself and your writing, then inspiration will naturally arise, and you’ll be able to easily discern what you need to do next to move forward with your project.

That's a neat site- I like it! It's so fun having friends that are into writing now. I felt like the only one for a long time! :)
